My story

I come from a family that believed education was the key to everything. They've been my rock through thick and thin, and I can't thank them enough for that. As a kid, I was always getting into mischief – curiosity was my middle name! I made some amazing friends along the way, and they've been a big part of shaping who I am today. I fell in love with books early on, and they've been my faithful companions ever since, opening up new worlds and ideas.

I come from a middle-class family with roots in business and agriculture. After finishing college, I took a shot at the UPSC exam (it's a big deal in India!). Even though I didn't end up going that route, the experience taught me so much about discipline, confidence, and managing my time – skills that have been super helpful in all areas of my life.

My next adventure was as a Data Scientist in India. It was there that I really learned the value of hard work, passion, and thinking like an entrepreneur. Then came the big move to the USA – talk about a confidence booster! It really opened my eyes to a whole new world.

Come Fall 2024, I'm diving into a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I'm pumped about this new chapter! It's all part of my dream to make a difference in the world of AI and use tech to solve real-world problems. For me, this isn't just a job – it's my calling.

What Drives Me

I'm absolutely fascinated by AI and its potential to change the world. But you know what? My dreams go beyond just professional success. I want to be a good person, a loving family man, maybe start my own business one day, and do my bit to make the world a little better.

I believe tech should bring people together and help solve some of the big problems we're facing. It's not just about the cool gadgets – it's about how we can use them to make life better for everyone.

In my work, I'm always pushing myself to learn more and do better. I love working with all sorts of people and hearing different ideas. Every challenge is a chance to learn something new and come up with creative solutions.

On a personal note, I'm a pretty simple guy. I find joy in the little things – hanging out with family, having deep chats with friends, or exploring new places. Nature is my happy place, and I'm always up for an adventure. These experiences don't just make life fun; they inspire my work too!

At the end of the day, I want to make a difference – in my field, in my community, and in the world. I'm always eager to learn, innovate, and find ways to leave a positive mark.

My Outlook on Life

I'm a glass-half-full kind of person, and I try to treat everyone with kindness and respect. I love one-on-one conversations – they're so much more meaningful than big gatherings. And travel? It's my passion! I've been solo backpacking for over a decade now, and it's given me such an appreciation for nature and adventure. I'm always dreaming about the next place to explore, and I love connecting with people who share this enthusiasm for adventure and can find joy in life's simple moments. If you're someone who gets excited about discovering new places and experiences, we'll have plenty to talk about!

I've been lucky to have some great mentors who've helped shape my scientific mindset. I'm always open to working with others and giving my all to whatever I do. Family means the world to me, and I strive to be someone people find easy to talk to. And while I've got my feet on the ground, my head's often in the clouds, dreaming about all the amazing possibilities the future holds.

Fun stuff

• I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie – I've trekked to Bhuranghati Peak and Kunzum Pass, I'm a certified scuba diver, and I love going on solo trips, running 10Ks, hiking, river rafting, and kayaking.

• Photography is my creative outlet. I love capturing beautiful moments and tinkering with photo editing to make them even more special.
